The Solace. A vehicle for one.

The Solace is a vision of the future of individual space travel. Suspended on two slim brass posts above a dark concrete plinth, the piece appears to hover at rest. The contrast is deliberate: the matte, weighted base against the high-shine indigo body, raw metal against liquid color. The hollows cut through the form let light clean through it, so the sculpture changes as you move around it.

Built for one, sometimes two - a small craft for planetary exploration, rendered as an object to be held, lit, and quietly admired. Not a model of a ship that exists, but a sculpture of one that could.
